Swing dance has transformed and defined my college experience. Were it not for college swing clubs like those at UConn, this valuable piece of american history would be lost. The ability to have social dances to live bands that can bring together undergraduates, graduates, and community members is paramount to allowing everyone to experience the joy of lindy hop.
