UCSB has become a really important place for me. I'm only a freshman at UConn right now, so I can only guess how long people have been coming to these dances that the club puts on. I was able to meet so many people from the outside swing community, like Bruce, who's an amazing dancer and the sweetest. I want this club to be filled with people who just want to come and dance and meet new people. Swing dancing is something I want to do for a very long time, and I know that I wouldn't be able to stay in this little undergraduate bubble forever.
